I received a cancellation at 8am, tour was for 9.30am. Not enough people were booked on the tour. I had checked when I woke up at 7am, no cancellation had come through so I turned up. Thanks to a lady at a cafe nearby who contacted him to find out what had happened as I could not access my Guruwalks messages for some reason.
Antwort von GuruHello Helen, I dont mind your 1 star review as the rest of my reviews, more than a hundred, and all reviews I received during the past 7 years will give a fair image of my tour to my future walkers. For the sake of other tour guides on the platform who just started and dont have the luxury of receiving a bad review at the start I kindly ask you to consider in the future how much a bad review can affects someones life and livelihood. Please dont fully blame just the one side in the future and if you see a storm forecast check your messages and have understanding for others. I have waited as long as possible to see if anyone else applies so I could do a tour for you (you were the only person that booked) and thats why I sent the cancellation message an hour and 30 minutes before the start. I thought that should be enough time for a town that is fully walkable in 30 minutes and was hoping you will check the messages on the app especially considering the bad weather. Take care!
