I did not enjoy the tour, perhaps due to the guides unenthusiastic behaviour (being late, not being engaging and interactive and not really knowing Estonia) She was from Cuba and her english and knowledge was not the best. I’d just recommend booking some other tour.
It was the worst free walking tour in my life, while I always try to take one being a new city. The guide was completely incompetent, messing all historical facts, and not even making any effort to tell anything about history and culture. Furthermore, the guide does not seem to like Estonians themselves. Therefore, I can not recommend it, a waste of time.
I would not recommend this tour at all. The guide was a "replacement", she didn't know too much about the history of the country and city, nor the sights she was showing (she was not local, so it might be difficult for her). We didn't get any info beforehand about this replacement. There were a few stops where she just said "take a few pictures, we will continue in five minutes", without any additional information. We left the tour after 55 minutes, and we were not the first ones who left...
It was our 9th tour with free guides but for the first time we didn't find anything interesting in the trip. Guide comments were chaotic, often not related to the location where we were (eg. standing under Three Sisters we heard no word about that but standing next to city walls the guide talked about something which was 40 min. away from us and we did not go there anyway). Guide recommended us Italian restaurant and did not say a word about Estonian cuisine and national dishes, we spent a lot of time having breaks (20 min for toilet and coffee, 15 min in one church, 10 min in other church on self watching which we could do that in our free time). In the end we left the group after 1.5h (tour was planned for 2h). From good things I can tell that guide was nice, could be found easily in the meeting point and was awaiting for the group when moving from one point to another.
Malisima experiencia!!! Reservamos un tour con Juan en Tallin y no se presentó. Estuvimos esperando pero no apareció nadie! No nos avisó de que no venía ni nos dijo que había cancelado el tour. No es muy agradable estar esperando en la calle con el frío de Tallin. No lo recomiendo por la falta de educación
Antwort von GuruHola estimada Olga lamento lo sucedido y te pido disculpas pero habéis reservado a la una de la mañana del mismo dia de la excursión y nuestro guia ya estaba durmiendo en este momento, el revisa sus reservas serca de la media noche del dia anterior para ver si hay, reserva para el siguiente dia y al no ver nada asumio que no hay turista este dia, nos pudiste escribir a nuestro telefono de contacto o a nuestra aplicacion como mensaje para confirmar tu llegada ya que eras la unica cliente de este dia y por el tiempo enque reservaste faltando 10 horas antes del inicio del tour donde por lo habitual la gente duerme nuestro guia no se informo y planeo la salida de ese dia, te ruego seas comprensible y no nos valores de esta manera pq nuestro equipo rinde un excelente servicio ayudando a las personas viajeras de nuestras hermosas ciudades, nosotros no recibimos ningún pago anticipado ni somos tours privados, y si no se te llamo ni se cancelo por razones ya mencionadas, espero tu comprensión y amabilidad espero que tengas viajes muy amenos y que sigas conociendo el mundo.
