The tour was great: the coffee tasting, the restaurant with local food, the market visit, all of it! We would not be able to see those places on our own. If you are looking for a truly authentic experience, I definitely recommend taking this tour!
My tour with Kenaw was really great! We visited the crazy and sprawling Merkato Market among several other stops. Kenaw is professional, friendly, punctual, kind, and a very knowledgable guide. I highly recommend going out to explore Addis with Kenaw...you won't be disapointed.

With a last minute day layover in Addis due to a missed connecting flight, I hadn’t done any research on the country. I booked a very last minute tour with Kenaw who was responsive & helpful in working out the best itinerary for me. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe & well looked after. The tour was so informative, with lots of cultural & historic context provided. Given his GuruWalk tours make up a significant portion of his income, Kenaw is extremely punctual & professional, but also intentional & thoughtful to ensure his guests have the best possible time.
