I recently took a walking tour of Souk Elhad in Agadir, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the history of the market and its vibrant culture. I loved how he led us through the bustling alleyways, pointing out unique items like handmade crafts, spices, and local textiles. What stood out the most was the chance to interact with local vendors and learn about their trades. The atmosphere was lively, but not overwhelming, and it felt like I was truly immersed in the local way of life. If you're in Agadir, this is a must-do activity. Highly recommended
We were very disappointed about tour and considered it as the worst we ever done in many cities. We had the expectation that the tour is about history and interesting facts of Agadir and its known products. Instead, we were literally forced to go to some fixed shops that have pre-arrangements with the guide and every time had to sit in to listen the high-pressure promotion from the vendors. Despite the bargaining culture here, these vendors started the price to be insanely high and we almost cannot walk away without buying at the end. It was so horrible that we wanted to escape so much, which at the end the tour lasted for 1 hour only, but thankfully. We will not recommend anybody this trip, unless someone is specifically looking for a shopping guide for local products and is not so price cautious.
Said gave me a very informative talk on Berber culture and took me to shops in the sook and helped me pick the best products. We enjoyed a tajin together and had a great time. I recommend Said for a relaxed tour of the soul.
