Majd was fantastic. Such a delightful man. He has a great insight into local life. His tour was engaging and fun. And to finish off we ended up at a local market. We were the only tourists there.
Emre was delighted full of knowledge and wisdom. He went above and beyond. I'd been on other tours in Istanbul, but this was great as it showed a new perspective.
Really enjoyed this tour, was a lot packed into it and gave a real feel for the place. Lots of interesting local facts given with a fun twist.
Disappointed by the tour, whitst not awful, its certainly not a tour of Istanbul. A large proportion is spent in Sophia Haig, around 80 mins. And if I had booked onto a Sophia Haig tour that would of been okay. However I wanted a more generalised outlook on Istanbul, like the grand bazaar and other cultural landmarks. I was given a map at the end and told of places to visit, but felt this defies the point of a walking tour. The group was large, 15 people in total and at times i struggled to hear what was being said and almost lost the guide a few times. Personally not for me.
