One of the best tours we have ever done. Arnela did an outstanding job explaining a complex history. She has such passion for her home. It is hard to convey how well she does this, given this is not recent history to her but her life. It is 2 1/2 hours long. I would say if you have come here take the time to learn.
Ivan focuses on history and that is why we picked this tour. Without his expert guidance we would not have noticed all the historical details. We have a greater appreciation for this beautiful place thanks to him. I marked this high on entertainment to reflect what we learnt, not silliness , rather pointing out things that are entertaining with historical context. We recommend this tour if you are coming to learn.
A perfect combination of historical, social and practical information. She was willing and able to answer any question, including complex and sensitive recent history. 100% worth doing. Highly professional and personable. There is a paid tour of the communist recent history which is paid. We did not do it but I would say based on this tour it would be worth doing.
