Mein Name ist Mark, ich reise gern, bin ehemaliger Archäologe und ein großer Geschichts-Nerd. Ich komme ursprünglich aus Europa, bin aber vor 15 Jahren nach New York City gezogen. Seit fast zwei Jahren lebe ich nun in Seoul. Ich erkunde diese Stadt sehr gern und kenne mittlerweile Hunderte von coolen Orten, die man in dieser Stadt besuchen oder sehen kann.
Given this was our second time in Seoul, we wanted to join a walking tour that we could truly learn how living in Seoul is like and have an in-depth appreciation for the neighborhood of Gangnam. Mark was great at managing a group of tourists, and balancing the history and culture with his own experience. He was patient at sharing his live location so we could find him as we arrived late to his tour. If you are looking for a fun and entertaining walking tour, this is the one!

Mark is a master storyteller -- he covers many topics during this tour including: the history of Gangnam district, how chaebols such as Samsung and Hyundai are vital to Korea's economy, the story behind Psy's rise to fame, and even how to read the Korean alphabet. Though Gangnam has only a couple of key sites worth seeing (eg. Starfield Library), Mark's entertaining stories easily make this a worthwhile walking tour.
The tour was full of interesting information about different topics regarding Korea and helpful tips to appreciate this town even more!!
