Ich bin Michael – hier in der schönen Stadt Belfast geboren, aufgewachsen und aufgewachsen. In den letzten 12 Jahren habe ich nebenberuflich als Titanic-Reiseführer gearbeitet und dabei mein Wissen auf die pulsierenden Straßen von Belfast selbst ausgedehnt. Es ist mir eine große Freude, Menschen aus allen Ecken der Welt in meiner „kleinen“ Stadt Béal Feirste willkommen zu heißen, und ich würde mich freuen, wenn Sie mich zu einem Gespräch und einem Spaziergang durch die Stadt begleiten würden. Lassen Sie mich Ihnen zeigen, warum diese Stadt so besonders ist – und vielleicht auch ein bisschen lachen!
First of all, Michael is an actual gem of a human being. If Belfast had a city mascot, it should be him. As a local, he didn’t just show us the city—he walked us through its stories, scandals, myths, and legends with the kind of insider charm you can’t get from a guidebook (or Google, let’s be honest). He answered every single question we threw at him (some of them were probably weird, sorry Michael) and seemed genuinely interested in what we were curious about. From major historical sites to local folklore, and even contemporary issues—his knowledge was wide and sprinkled with just the right amount of wit. Also, as someone who tends to zone out while trying to decipher 'thick' accents like I’m cracking a code—his English was crystal clear. I could actually enjoy the tour instead of doing (very poor) live subtitle translation in my brain. TL;DR: This tour (and Michael himself) is a 100/10. So, give yourself the gift of letting him show you around Belfast—you won’t regret it.
Taking a guided tour with Michael doesn't make you feel like just another tourist but just a one of the city!!!
Michael was the perfect guide. He couldn’t have been more welcoming and open to questions/giving personalised suggestions. I would 110% recommend to anyone wanting to get their bearings of the city with a knowledgable and warm tour guide. Thanks again Michael!
Michael was extremely intelligent and proud about the city of Belfast. His character and humour also made it a very entertaining tour. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast!
