Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide and group. Very informative and still worth while despite a few points being closed (understandably not Derick’s fault but he made sure to either add other stops on on to spend more time). Derick was very engaging and made the experience a wonderful way to see the city.
Derick has a good knowledge about Tanzania and Dar Es Salaam. He met us the church (starting point) and showed us around for almost 2-2.5 hours and also shared lot of information about culture, religion, politics and other important topics of a country. He also took us to very interesting fish market and showed us many different things there. Overall highly recommended tour if you wanna see some highlights of the city on foot in short time.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Derick. There was a total of 3 in the group, so he was able to personalize the tour to the interest of the participants. As a true local, Derick is very knowledgeable and shared historical info as we made our way in a loop that started/ended from St Joseph's Cathedral and included the seafood market. Truly an excellent introduction to Dar es Salaam!
