Ayoub was really smart and well informed about Rabat and its place in the context of Morocco. Overall, it was a good tour. My only criticisms would be that early on he said that he is not an official guide and it became obvious that he was avoiding being in the large public spaces, like the mausoleum. (Morocco has strict requirements for being a guide and unofficial guides run the risk of penalties). So, he left us to expxlore certain areas on our own, which we could have done at our own pace rather than being on the schedule of the tour. But still, overall it was a good tour and Ayoub was really well informed.
The experience was awesome! The tour with Ayoub felt like we were on a walk with a very good friend. He made everything so interesting and fun, we learned a lot about the history of Morocco, Rabat, traditions and the most emblematic figures of the population throughout the years. He even told us about current events that are happening in Rabat, and gave us recommendations on where to eat and shop like a local. Overall, we really recommend this experience, we went on a lot of walking tours this year all over the world and this one is in the top three for us.
