Thoroughly enjoyed this waking tour. Considering the immense past, history and beliefs associated with Varanasi and visiting the place for the first time we were fortunate to have an experienced Anant by our side. He understood the curiosity in us and took us to many interesting places many of which we might have missed ourselves; especially hidden temples, and holy ghats. Loved the walks through winding lanes, hearing insights with stories, as well as stopping by for tasting local delicacies. We liked the place even more due to this walking tour, where we got to know of its heritage thanks to Anant answering all our questions with thoughtfulness and enthusiasm.
Could not do the tour since the guide started the tour 60 minutes before time. It was an inconvenience for four of us who arrived before time and received a rationalising response that the miss happened because we booked on the same day of the tour etc. Expected less surprises and more protectiveness.
