We thoroughly enjoyed the walk, conversation and the hidden parts of Tblisi.
The first half of the tour was great with some quirky visits and quality information but the second half was a bit ho hum, with the last building just an abandoned (modern) building that even David said had no real history or information. The tour was quicker than advertised, only an hour & half but I felt as if we were being rushed. I've done 2 other walking tours in Tbilisi since this one and basically got the same info & facts so you could do a more extensive tour for the same information.
If you want to see Tbilisi from a completely different perspective, this free walking tour with Davit is a must! He took us through secret rooftops, hidden corners, and shared fascinating local stories that you won’t find in any guidebook. Davit is a cool, easygoing guy who makes the tour feel like exploring the city with a knowledgeable friend. His passion for Tbilisi’s history and culture shines through, and he knows all the best spots for great views and unique photo ops. Totally recommend this tour! Don’t miss it if you want an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience in Tbilisi. Thanks, Davit! 👏🏼
A walk with limited information. The guide seemed to think the most important thing was that he was brought up in the area and played in the streets since he was a child. We walked in streets were hadn’t visited, but gained very little information
