Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich bin Jain Prasad, ich gehöre zu Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). Ich bin zertifizierter Reiseleiter und wurde vom Ministerium für Tourismus (MOT) und dem Indischen Institut für Tourismus und Reisemanagement (IITTM) ausgebildet. Jetzt habe ich das Abzeichen „Unglaublicher Indien-Touristenvermittler“, das vom Ministerium für Tourismus und der indischen Regierung ausgestellt wurde. Derzeit leite ich Touren in Uttarpradesh, Delhi und im Bundesstaat Rajasthan. Seit 5 Jahren veranstalte ich free walking touren und Essen Spaziergänge, Nachtwanderungen, Spaziergänge durch das Kulturerbe, ganztägige und halbtägige Stadtrundfahrten. Außerdem arbeite ich seit 5 Jahren mit der Firma Yo Tours zusammen, die in Indien und im Ausland sehr bekannt und beliebt ist. Ich habe 2014 meinen Abschluss an der BHU-Universität gemacht und im Jahr 2017 meinen Master in Tourismus abgeschlossen. Ich reise leidenschaftlich gern, blogge und koche Essen. Ich spreche Englisch, Hindi und Regionalsprache.
My biggest complaint is that we didn’t follow the itinerary listed on the website and spent most of the tour in small back alley ways rather than sight seeing. He told us the burning ghat was closed due to high waters (it was part of the itinerary) and then at the end of the tour gave us directions to go there ourselves, which we did. It wasn’t closed. He did send links to its exact location and answered specific questions we had. He was a great story teller and very enthusiastic. He was kind and enjoyed sharing his knowledge, but I think other tours would show you more of the city. We saw no major landmarks on this tour.
Jain was a decent guide during our visit to Varanasi. He provided helpful information about the city's religious and cultural background and was willing to answer our questions. He also suggested some good local places to eat. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Very good tour, Jain was very helpful and knowledgeable. Varanasi is a very busy chaotic place, he looked after us well.
Jain was a wonderful guide in Varanasi: informative, forgiving of my slow pace (I’d recently been ill) and encouraging to reflect inward of the places visited. Thanks so much!
