Great tour. I’d been expecting to enjoy it as the reviews had been excellent and I did. The group size was quite big but our guide managed to keep us all together and was able to take different stops for pictures and to try some local snacks. I liked the guidance given as well for some basic safety. The market trip was good but unfortunately the market was mostly closed or at least the majority of business seemed to be done by the time we arrived so I didn’t quite get the atmosphere I was expecting. I think the best bit was the stories of the history of La Paz. I think it’s worth a mention as well that it is misleading to market this is a free tour and you pay what you can as a tip because this was clearly not the case. The minimum is 50. Actually I didn’t mind I think it was a great tour and well worth that or more but still I don’t like misleading advertising.
Absolutely phenomenal. I enjoy walking tours very much and join one for every new city I visit. But Daniel's tour really took it to the next level. Every story that he shared was gripping and narrated with great eloquence and lucidity. We visited key sites, took a cable car up to El Alto and tried some local fruits together. My group asked him an incredibly diverse range of questions and he answered all of them on the spot and was humble enough to admit if he did not kno. The tour brought Bolivia to life for us.
Man, what a great tour!! Learned a ton in such an entertaining way.
