Food choices were really good, Jasmin was very open and entertaining. Personally, we would prefer to have more information about Queens itself. But if your focus is on food only, everything tasted great.
A big shout out to Jasmine for running the tour even though we were the only people signed up. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the various food cultures on the tour and picked out great places to try different foods. The tour is a great way to start to discover another side to New York - a quick and easy trip from mid town Manhattan to a different world. By the end of the tour we felt confident to continue exploring by ourselves. This isn’t a history tour- it is very focussed on food and culture as you would expect from the title. And you definitely need to arrive hungry!
Don’t bother. She didn’t show up. Messaged me 10 minutes after the tour should have started. I waited 15 minutes in the freezing cold and wasted my time and money
