Namaste & Hallo! Ich bin Sanjay, ein stolzer Mumbaikar mit einer besonderen Verbindung zu Süd-Goa, das sich wie mein zweites Zuhause anfühlt. Als freiberuflicher Kameramann bin ich leidenschaftlich an Reisen, Kochen, Fotografie, Schreiben, digitaler Kunst, Meditation und Geschichtenerzählen interessiert. Ich schaue mir auch gerne Dokumentarfilme an und entdecke überall, wo ich hingehe, neue Geschichten. Ich verbringe gerne Zeit mit unterprivilegierten Kindern und bringe ihnen grundlegende Fähigkeiten und Bildung bei. In den letzten 16 Jahren habe ich Indien mit Freunden aus Ländern wie Deutschland, Japan, Kanada und der Schweiz erkundet. Ich habe viele Reisende getroffen, die Indien nur aus Reiseführern kannten, also habe ich es mir zur Aufgabe gemacht, das „echte“ Indien zu teilen – die Kultur, die Geschichten und die verborgenen Schätze jenseits der üblichen Touristenattraktionen. Reiseleiter zu sein bedeutet für mich mehr, als Sehenswürdigkeiten zu zeigen; es geht darum, sinnvolle Verbindungen herzustellen, Barrieren zu überwinden und ein wirklich umfassendes Erlebnis zu bieten. Bei meiner Mumbai-Tour geht es darum, die lebendige Kultur, Geschichte und Energie der Stadt auf eine persönliche und ansprechende Weise zu präsentieren.
We had a fantastic tour with Sanjay. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about Mumbai, and many other things - he will happily answer any random questions you might think of throughout. He’s also flexible with how the run down of the tour takes place. The tour gives such an in depth look into the south of Mumbai, its evolution as a city, its potential future and its cultural, historical and political past. He communicates well (both during the tour and beforehand) and is very funny. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to see the south of Mumbai and is ready to walk and enjoy a quick train ride!
Sanjay was very kind right from the first exchange we had. He was available and flexible in finding the perfect moment during our stay in Mumbai to lead the tour. He explained everything very well and was ready to reply to our questions, which ranged from history to cultural aspects of everyday life. Also the train experience was a positive surprise. Would totally recommend him!!
Excellent tour around Bandra. Very interesting. Sanjay was really knowledgeable and full of interesting information about Bandra and Mumbai local culture and also other areas in India and India as a whole. We felt safe walking around and taking in the architecture and the evening buzz of the area. Sanjay showed us some hidden gems that we wouldn't have known about or experienced just walking on our own. Sanjay also waited for us patiently and understandingly, as we got stuck in traffic and so arrived later than agreed. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Mumbai.
Great tour! Sanjay was great, very knowledgeable, and a good communicator! He speaks perfect english and knows a lot about Mumbai's history, you really get to understand a lot about the city, its origin and evolution. Also the tour is quite long he takes you to several different places in different zones of the city so you end up covering a lot. Be prepared to walk!
