Beatrice gave us so much unexpected information.... I hadn't realised about the issues surrounding how the town transformed from a farming community into a local tourist hub as a result of all the farmers being displaced & disinherited buy the building of the dam that flooded their farms . . . YOU will LOVE this tour. Beatrice' grand fathers have lived experience of the transformation to tourism & loss if their traditional farming livelihoods. Beatrice was able to share their experiences!!
Jonathan, our guide was very informative: sharing a lot of religious, social, cultural, & political history & information. He is a young man beyond his years, already with so much insight & intuition . He was very accommodating and answered all oue question and took us to interesting parts of town.
