I really loved Anna energy! She made small jokes, and really told you more details about things than most guide would. Personally for me, it was really good, because she would just talk and while she’s talking about something she would then go on about a similar subject that linked too it… to explain more about how the history was back in the past. for me this was perfect, but I felt some people wanted to just hear facts.. then move on… I think maybe the route could be rearranged because I felt like people started to feel a bit tired towards end… but it is 3 hours long… it be nice to have the coffee break in the middle to break it up - maybe two half’s of the tour. But for me, it was perfect. Just the vibe I got from other people on the tour. But Anna kept trying to keep everyone motivated, so I give her 10/10 for that.
Huyen Was AMAZING! So to start I’m a pescatarian, and my partner eats meat. Huyen was very accommodating with this and making sure we got the correct dishes and always double checking with the vendors. We got to try a lot of food, that natural we wouldn’t have had the chance to pick up, but the only problem after stop 4 we was getting very full… I mean I guess it’s not a problem because you EAT A LOT! There was only 4 of us on the tour. We ended up spending and extra 45-50 minute with Huyen, after the tour because she was so easy to get along with and was willing to tell us stories of Vietnamese life as well as we all was talking about our love for food and different dishes. Tbh, if I ever get the chance to come back too this city, I think I would do it again, just to hang out with Huyen and see the city through her eyes. Definitely would recommend it.
We had an amazing tour with Hung, he really knew his stuff and you can truly see he has a strong passion for the history of his city. We got to stop off and try avocado coffee which was really nice and we went too the museum - FYI, museum isn’t included and you need to pay entrance and neither was the coffee, which totally didn’t bother us, but just incase you missed it on the itinerary that it does state it there- Hung also helped us understand more about Vietnamese life and how society is shaped here. Truly recommend this tour. We loved that it was an afternoon start, so it allowed us to break up our day.
Joseph was a great tour guide on our walking tour. He was very knowledgeable and even was helpful answering other questions about Vietnam, and other cities that other walkers was planning on visiting. You can tell Joseph’s is very passionate about his city, and his country which is really nice to see. He took photos for us, as well as giving us a lot of recommendations on WhatsApp after. Truly would recommend this tour.
Yunus, was amazing on the tour. He truly knew what he was talking about and went at a really good pace. He also read the the crowed and made little jokes. He was open to answering many questions that was slightly off topic that related more too Istanbul or the Turkish life before Turkey. He truly knew what he was talking about.
