We were a little bit disappointed. We feel like visiting the market with a guide had no additional value. At the end the guide told us that the minimum tip was 250.000 VND per person. I think this is a crazy amount for a walk of 70 minutes inside the market en 45min in a coffeeshop where you have to buy everything yourself and weren't really able to try the different foods unless you bought a whole meal/big package.
Loved the tour! It was small and personal. It didn't feel rushed at all. Saw some lovely buildings in a short amount of time and tasted some sweets, chocolat, caca de perro and a liquor. Would highly recommend (and visit the Towers of the Basilica)
