I highly recommend to book a Walking Tour with Ali! This was one of the best Walking Tours I ever did. Ali is a warm and very friendly man who knows everything about Mombasa‘s history and beyond, and he also knows pretty well how to make jokes, so you will definitely will have a lot of fun and wont regret doing this City Walk with him! You will learn a lot about the City and you can ask him everything (either if you want to know the name of a spice in the market or the meaning of some old runes or signs on some wooden doors). So many interesting Information about Mombasa‘s roots which you can even see and experience by looking at different buildings and places - if you know where you have to look and if you have Ali showing you where to find them ;) Enjoy a late morning walking tour with Ali after your breakfast, after the tour you can have lunch at a local and recommended Restaurant as a new born Mombasa Insider!
