Despite of the terrible rainy weather, this tour was very good. Quality of the information, history knowledge and open-minded guide. Vania is very nice and friendly person. She was open ask questions and gave as some of the recommendation of restaurants and pubs. If some of you will be in Sofia, please choose walk tour with Vania.
Second day and the second tour with (luckily) Bartek. The first one was "Old Town and Wawel Castle" which have been absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. "Krakow Jewish Quarter and Ghetto Free Tour" was very interesting and worth to attend. We had a chance to see the places that I haven't been yet in Kraków - it surprise me a lot, of course in a good way. Bartek was full of professionalism (as always ;)) and prepared. This tour I also recommend!
It's not the first time I used free tour, but it was first time in Poland. What's interesting - I'm from Poland, but during the booking I thought it's a good idea to check and compare quality and professionalism of the tour. I truly would like to say, it was one of the best tour I have ever had. A lot of information, contact with other team members, professionalism of the guide. I really, really recommend the tour, especially with Bartek :)
Unfortunately this walk need to have some improvements. Firstly - why our guide took us for the break to the mall?? Around Old Town are super friendly bars/ restaurants, so I don't know why he choose this place. Secondly - I and my friends are disappointment that local guide talked about high prices (everywhere in the world is the inflation/ countries are touch by the war, etc), so I don't get it, how he can make the shopping in Germany?? Instead to keep his money in his own country. Third - the worst one in my opinion. How the Guide can said that during the 2 world war The Czech Republic have been under "protection" of Hitler and he liked their country........ That's the reason he didn't bombed it. Here I recommend check the history how the protection between Czech Republic and Germany looks like and how the impact is till current days.
