Ich bin Biologe, Vogelführer und Naturschutzfotograf und lebe in New York. Ich organisiere geführte Vogelwanderungen im Central Park, um die mehr als 200 Vogelarten zu erkunden, die in New York zu Hause sind. We did a 2-hour bird watching tour with Hector. We learnt a lot about birds, their migration behaviour, their behaviour around predators (raptors) and how to recognise them. Hector took us through Central Park and made sure we saw everything, he even got spare binoculars with him so we could see everything he did. His knowledge about birds (and other nature related stuff) and the passion he has for it, really made the tour interesting. If you like birds or nature in general, I strongly recommend doing a bird watching tour with Hector. And Hector: thanks, we had an amazing afternoon!!
Hector is an incredibly knowledgable and inspiring person. If you are into birds, nature or if you simply wanna explore one of the NYC parks, this is the person to hang out with!
Hector led a profoundly educational and FUN tour for both adults and my children. We’re all now much smarter and more mindful of the birds living here and flying through town, as well as how important Central Park is for sustaining a global ecology for them.
