This was not a tour to learn about the history of Budapest. Fortuna was a very friendly tour guide, but unfortunately the topics that were spoken about were more about tourism of Budapest, rather than the historic information, dates or events. There was a moment in the tour, where we were asked to shout back is the name of the city in which we were standing and, whilst a bit funny made us feel a tad strange and felt a little age inappropriate. Unfortunately we did have to leave three stops in because we were just not learning anything which we found interesting. If you would like a tour about where to buy your train tickets where to find iron cars to teddy bears and to find out that the Grand Budapest Hotel was in fact not filmed here, then this is the tour for you. It was a free tour though, so don’t want to complain! Free tours are great :)
