Ljubljana town is small but filled with history and culture that Minka so vividly expresses. Minka speaks perfect English and is totally encapsulating in her explanations of history of events. Day Prior to your tour Minka thoughtfully sends you a text with links of the best places to see and visit while in Ljubljana. During the tour, Minka has a small cart that she totes around that is filled with Ljubljana and Slavic Goodies. Minka prepared these goodies in advance that she lets you sample, each sample she passes out along the tour route has a history of food and culture of the Slavic people. Minka is a true gem so kind, giving, and exceptionally talented in her explanations about what you are looking at as well as her cooking skills. MINKA's TOUR SHOULD NOT BE MISSED!! VEDRAN, born in Dubrovnik has locals take on history and significance of city in its glorious past. Near perfect English was easy to follow and understand.
Do not use Guru Guides in Havar. They canceled our scheduled tour last minute. Cost us 100 euro for ferryride to Havar. Seems to be common theme with these guides. Very Unreliable.
