I booked a tour last minute with Melissa about the new part of the city, without much time left to read in depth about the tour I quickly made myself to the meeting point. I introduced myself to Melissa and asked her what the tour was generally about. She responded “ how do you not know what the tour is about? You are the one that made the reservation… seeing her poor attitude I immediately went to the other guide there (Pablo) and asked him what his tour was about, he explained and I switched my guide with him. Pablo gave a great tour and was very friendly. In order to work in public you need to have a good attitude with your clients.
Me pareció poco profesional intentar darle un toque de humor al tour mofándose de la cultura o de algunos aspectos de atraso del país. Comentarios literales como "En Rumania escasea el sentido común" o mostrando una foto de una tumba de un cementerio para reírse del tipo de inscripciones o fotos que pone la gente entre muchos otros comentarios mas. Para ver un monologo hubiera buscado en otro sitio. No me interesa los prejuicios o las malas experiencias que haya tenido el guía personalmente. Hay que tener un poco de respeto.
