I like this tour as its shorter than the others advertised. Francisco covers the key areas and provide good tips on shortcuts around Lisbon and the must visita vs tourist traps. We even get to try the pastel de natal and ginja.
Francisco did a nice tour and provided us with details about the Portuguese history, politics and culture. He took us to some not so touristy corners and paths other walking tours probably would not cover. Francisco showed a lot of interest in the participants of the tour, so we had creat chats and got the feeling we could also ask some more detailed questions about Portugal.
He’s a true local, very familiar with the sights, sounds and tastes. Loved the custard tart straight out of the oven. Fascinated by these university troubadors. Enjoyed Francisco’s stories and super generous tips and tricks before and after our tour. He also accomodate a new time to avoid a potential downpour
Francisco (Chico) was amazing so knowledgeable and fun, sharing great facts about the city and treating us to delicious pastel de nata, he also offered us cherry liqueur, but it was still early for us, but it was so thoughtful of him. He also gave fantastic recommendations, so I’d definitely suggest doing this tour on your first day. If you only have time for one tour in Lisbon, choose this one!
