Highlight of my Istanbul trip! I absolutely enjoyed doing this tour and would recommend it to ANYONE who wants to discover all the marvelous Istanbul parts aside from the ‘typical touristy’ spots. The guide Ahmet is brilliant - super friendly, helpful, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. We even had a few chances to sit down in the bars/pubs where the local people spend their free time, providing traditional Turkish specialties. Not to mention, enjoying the spectacular view of the city with the best place to drink coffee/tea. Thank you again Ahmet!!!
Mertcan provides such a wonderful introduction to the Grand Bazaar from both the underlying history and shopping sides. In a nutshell, we were offered a free trial of distinct delicacies, enjoyed a tea with one of the owners of a famous silver family business, enjoyed an amazing rooftop view of the landscape, and got discounts for different goods. This is simply a must tour!!! Thanks Mertcan for a great time.
