We opted for the tour of old Havana and were contacted with very clear instructions by our guide Jorge. When we met him he was extremely friendly and made sure to get to know us a little before beginning the tour. He took us around the main plazas in old Havana and shared fascinating facts and stories about the history, customs and lives of both people in Havana and Cuba in general from many centuries ago right up to modern day. His style of delivering information was perfect with just the right amount so you understood but didn't feel overwhelmed. He really encouraged us to ask any questions and there was not a single thing we asked that he could not answer. The tour was a very easy walk from place to place with lots of stops and Jorge ensured to find us shade to stand in so we wouldn't become too tired. I really feel like we got a real understanding of the history of Havana and we also got a feel for the lives of people today as we spoke with some locals who were happy to chat and answer questions! Id definitely recommend this tour.
Jorge was a great guide and super helpful with tips and tricks for Cuba. The country is struggling a lot currently and he was honest about the challenges while giving a great histrorical overview of Cuba and sharing prospectives on Cuba of today. Really recommend this walking tour for an overview of the city and history

We really enjoyed our tour with Jorge. It ended up just being our family which allowed him to customize our tour and answer all of our many questions. He gave great information and we had some great conversations about Cuba's history as well as present political and social challenges. It was a TERRIFIC way to spend the morning in Havana. A walking tour is a must-do as many of the streets are only for pedestrians and Jorge is a great guide!
