Mariana was wonderful. Her deep love of Fado, her culture, and her neighborhood make this a remarkable experience. It's so much more than a Fado tour, but you do get a private performance and a deeper understanding of the role of Fado in Portuguese history.
Slava is an entertaining guide who fills his tour with interesting stories. A good mix of history and legend. An unconventional tour that takes you beyond the tourist sites and helps you get a better feel for the real Sintra.
Fun tour with Diogo. A different take on the city, which was just what I wanted. Interesting and a pretty good workout as well. The tour ended with a wonderful view of the city and a historical dark tale.
