Aaron - Stadtführer in Kuching

Amazing tour!!! I will freely admit I’m a bit of a nerd, and this tour kept me captivated for several hours. I learned so much about Kuching, saw many hidden gems that I couldn’t have thought to find on my own, and enjoyed Aaron’s obvious love for his city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Took the walking tour with Aaron in Kuching on a very rainy morning during Lunar New Year. Most of the shops were closed. We were the only ones on the tour, so it basically was a private tour of old part of Kuching in empty and quiet streets. Aaron adapted the tour due to all the closures and came prepared with diagrams and statistics of Kuching. He gave great tips about what to do, how to get around, where to eat, etc. He also gave great explanations of history and culture of Kuching/Sarawak. Learned quite a lot from Aaron (who is 3rd or 4th generation in Sarawak). Given almost all the restaurants were closed that day, Aaron took us to the convention center for a free lunch provided by the government for the Lunar New Year. Would highly recommend Aaron to gain perspective on Kuching/Sarawak from a local person who seemed to really enjoy being a guide and teaching people about the history and culture of the region.
