Scariest free walking tour ever. Avoid. First of all, the guide forgot about the tour so we started 30 minutes late - and from a different location. Secondly, the tour itself was really bad. It felt like the guide did not have a plan and we did none of the advertised activities - except for drinking a slow coffee. The whole thing felt very uncomfortable, so I descided to just tip a minimum amount to cover his costs. That's when things got really bad. To clarify, I am a female solo traveller and this was one of my most scary and unsafe travel experiences ever. The guide started to follow me. Little did I know that he would follow me all the way back to my accommodation. He was insulting me, threatening me, even grabbing me. When I got home and he finally left, I was shaking. Only afterwards did I read the reviews for his other tour and realised that he had pressured other tourists to tip him more although they were not satisfied with his tour as well. The only difference is the they gave in and I did not. I'm not sure how this guy is still allowed to be in this platform to be honest... By the way, the picture he uses is from a YouTube video that has nothing to do with his tour...
The guide showed up just for me so I got a private tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. After the tour he sent me a list of Budva resources.
Go book this tour! Bikes in good condition, helmets, careful driving. Amazing tour guide. Loads of information and could answer all my questions. Went to many cool places I wouldn't have otherwise and got to know a lot about the history and recent life of Podgorica.
