This is not a food tour in my opinion - it was quite bizarre. The group was taken to an inauthentic and super touristy tapas restaurant where we were encouraged to buy drinks. 3 plates of tapas were given for free to share - Russian salad, patatas bravas and eggplant with honey. Maybe it’s cos I’m a foodie but I learnt nothing on this tour and my money would have been better spent elsewhere

Hi Lauren,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
Just to clarify—this is a free tour, and the tapas stop is simply a small gesture of hospitality. We personally cover the cost of a few typical bites to add a bit of local flavor to the experience, and we also pay a commission to the Guruwalk platform for each guest who joins.
Of course, you’re completely free to decide whether or not to order drinks or anything extra—there’s no obligation to spend, and this is clearly explained in the tour description so guests know what to expect.
We understand that foodies might be looking for something more in-depth, and in that case, a dedicated paid food tour would definitely be a better fit. Our aim with this tour is simply to share a light and enjoyable introduction to the city, with a small taste of its culture.
Thanks again for your feedback—it’s noted.
Best regards,
Wander-ful Tours Team
