Sal is a great guide, and even with his Korean accent, his English is very clear and easy to understand. He explained beautifully how Korean society lived in the past, especially in the Bukchon Hanok Village, showing the traditional houses and how families were organized. He also took me to the Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and told the whole story of how the Korean people lived from ancient times all the way to the period of Japanese occupation. His explanations made the history feel alive — how the nobles behaved, how daily life worked, and how the old traditions shaped modern Korea. I really recommend him. A very informative and authentic experience.

The places we visited were interesting. Sam was a good tour guide. He shared a lot of information (with us) about the places we visited. I recommend this walking tour.

Sam was pretty informative and communicative via whatsApp on where to find/see him. The starting location is slightly congested outside the metro station, but good in a sense since it's an easy landmark. There are lots of shops to pick up water, snacks, coffee. The places we visited were interesting, we got a lot of facts, and he answered a lot of questions. One guy did this on repeat, except with his partner. Went to some interesting neighborhood streets. The last place, which I believe is Ikseondong, had nice shops/coffee shops/restaurants. I ate there afterwards and had a great Ramen meal. Lots of instagram shots if you like that sort of thing. Nice smelling bakeries. I went back twice for a Mochi coffee shop. They have lots of specialities, but rather jammed with people. They were tasty, and I had an Americano inside. It's small with a tiny courtyard. I would recommend doing this walking tour. I wish Sam knew more weird facts about the places we visited. I think that would be more interesting to me. But to each their own.
