Apostolis was a great guide and didn’t cancel even though it ended up just being myself & my husband. We gathered a lot of interesting information about Ohrid and North Macedonia too. Enjoyed the local crafts like seeing paper making, wood carving, pearls & local food and drink tasting. Never any pressure to buy anything, and genuinely interesting to see old craftsmen & women still at work. Highly recommend the tour
We've done a lot of walking tours all around the world and this was the best, all thanks to our guide Vasko. He was so friendly, enthusiastic and informative. He explained everything in great detail without at any point being boring. Very thorough in explaining how the tour worked, what we were seeing and also while explaining the history of the city and country. We also got some good recommendations for food and wine, more things to see and what public transport to get to places outside the city. A brilliant 2.5hrs to understand and appreciate more of the great city and country of North Macedonia. Highly recommend!
We booked a walking tour to get the most out of our few hours in the city. It started off a little slow, the guide wasn't the most enthusiastic but it really picked up along the way and he warmed up a lot. We learnt a lot about the city and got taken to places we definitely would have otherwise missed - the best part of these tours for me. We loved Uzepis especially and the 'republic' they have created. A really great arty area full of quirks. Would recommend to get a lot more from the city then just wandering around yourself.
Simon was a brilliant guide, really friendly and chatty. Lots of great history as well as funny stories along the way all good with enthusiasm. He did the tour in English and Spanish which was impressive and it worked well for each to take turns listening then getting pics of the area we were in. Would highly recommended Simon and the return recoleta tour.
Sara was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly although 4 hours is a little too long for me and it could have been cut down
