Tony was an amazing, cheerful and super knowledgeable guide. While we were with him on the tour, we got to know a lot of interesting facts about Hanoi, its history, as well as Vietnamese culture, religion and every day life. The time flew by as Tony was super interesting to listen to.
We had the most amazing time with Trang! The tour was seriously the best one we have had so far in Vietnam (and we have been travelling for a week and a half at this point). Her English was really really good and easily understandable (which is actually not the case with many tour guides in Vietnam). She had great interaction with the group, and we were in a small group of maybe 8 people max. She provided us a great overview of Hoi An, as well as its rich history and culture. When we arrived, she guided us on how to buy tickets for the ancient town, and showed us the key sights in the ancient town. She also has a lot of knowledge about the culture and traditions as a local, but she has spent a great deal of time talking to the locals living in the ancient town of Hoi An. Best part - she has made friends with locals, so when passing by the market, you will get to know two super sweet old ladies and get to try a traditional cake and some snacks (but no pressure to buy anything- just to try and learn more about the life stories of actual residents of this old part of Hoi An). I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, as its a great starting point to get to know Hoi An and then you can continue exploring on your own as Trang will make sure to give you recommendations on what else to visit on your own and where to eat.
Amazing tour with Joseph and can definitely recommend it to anyone looking to learn about HCMC and its history. We took the tour on our first day and it was a great way to see the key sights in the city, learn about the history of HCMC and Vietnam, culture and also see main spots for eating and shopping. As a cherry on the top, Joseph sent us a follow up message with suggestions for places to eat and extra places to visit in HCMC and we did visit some of those in the days after the tour.
Polina was a great, informative and fun guide that showed us the most important parts of the city centre of Rome, as well as some beautiful hidden gems like churches and gave us great tips about restaurants and bars to visit.
