He made some pretty sexist jokes about historic women he mentioned. All the group had a hard time understanding his english, and he sent a message beforehand saying that the minimum pay should be 30 euros per person, which made us very disappointed since we did not enjoy the tour. It seemed he didn't even like the city of Lucca, he kept comparing it to Firenze and other cities, kind of talking down on Lucca, the city he was showing us. He also focused on telling stories that had nothing to do with the tour, some tales, and it was confusing
Eugene was very passionate about all the stories he told us. It was not a very traditional "Rome known spots" kind of tour, and it turned out to be one of the best ones we had in Italy! So many important information hidden in history, we learned a lot. Thank you, Eugene!
