Met with Isabelle (I think that was her name, sorry if I got it wrong!) She took us to a few places and we learned a lot about the history of Playa Del Carmen and its people. Obviously the centre is quite a small place so the stops were limited but she pointed out some places that were less touristy and would support locals, which was exactly what I was hoping for.
Roger was extremely friendly guide, he tailored the tour a little to what we were interested in. The tour itself takes you away from the main tourist areas to places you wouldn’t normally see. It was good to see how the Cusqueñans live in their everyday lives. We also learned a lot about the modern Quechuans which is something we’ve not heard much about in other tours. Muchos gracias Roger!
