What a tour guide this was the highlight of my 7 days in Morocco. I was very worried about walking the paths in the mountains as a solo traveler but Youssef took such good care of me. We had great conversation learning about his life in Morocco and it felt perfect to learn about Imlil from someone who actually grew up there and has family there even gave his cousins hugs on the way. He was very patient letting me walk at my own pace, ensuring I was safe while walking on slippery paths and took as many photos as I liked happily. Seriously if you want an excellent guide who can speak excellent English book with him you will not be disappointed!
The first time I ever used free tours and won't be my last. I was very overwhelmed arriving into Marrakesh as a solo female traveler I didn't have any idea how to navigate the Medina and Ismael made it so informative safe and fun. I really got a sense of the place and culture and he was so helpful showing us where things were and even being so patient when we needed toilet stops, ATM and I even needed to stop at a pharmacist which he pointed out to me. He had such a warm presence and our group all felt at ease with him while walking around the busy markets. This is the go to person to show you around Marrakesh!
