We really enjoyed the tour, lots of interesting history particularly enjoyed learning about the indigenous culture. We visited some of the suggested places after the tour, the ceviche at Marea, the ice cream at Gelarti, a local ginger beer from a street vendor, all were great.
Another excellent walking tour by Guru. Our guide was interesting to listen to some history and facts and recommendations.Really enjoyed the stop at Tio Antonio which has been set up to employ locals with disabilities beautiful hammocks and a cafe. Interesting to see the differences between the Leon and Granada markets
Loved hearing about the history of Nicaragua and the opportunity to try some locals foods at the market. Leo encouraged you to spend with the locals rather than a Walmart supermarket which is great. Good tips on where to eat
So pleased we did this tour we only had 24 hrs in San Salvador and we had seen some of the sites the day prior but getting some history and insight into these sites and the more recent history of El Salvador was fantastic
