Fab tour of Cork. It was cold and pouring with rain and Owen the guide kept us entertained for 2 hours.

I had a great free walking tour around Cork city center today with our guide, Owen. The experience was truly elevated by his insights as a local—it's amazing the histories and stories only someone from Cork can share! Owen was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, keeping the whole group entertained. A highlight for me was the history he shared while we were near the English Market and details about the River Lee. The pace of the walk was good, he also stopped for a coffee break and he was always happy to answer everyone's questions. If you're looking for a great introduction to the city, I highly recommend booking a tour with Owen!

Excellent tour. Owen was very entertaining- with such great wit ! We stopped half way for a welcome cup of coffee. Owen included lots of interesting facts relating to Ireland such as the origins of surnames, the Troubles, famous singers, connections with other countries and other historical facts. Really enjoyable and would highly recommend!

We did the Best of Cork City tour with Owen Cox, and he was great. Despite the pouring rain and Cork’s modest number of landmarks, Owen made the tour genuinely enjoyable. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, well-spoken, and a natural storyteller with an elite sense of humour that kept everyone engaged throughout. I especially loved his handwritten notepad full of local recommendations: from pubs and restaurants to live music venues and even cheese shops. It felt old-school and endearing, showing how much he truly cares about the experience he offers. We followed his tip to eat at Kelly’s, a traditional spot packed with locals. When we told the staff a local guide had sent us, they were delighted, they didn’t even know who he was but wanted to thank him for bringing them business. That says it all: Owen’s advice is genuine, heartfelt, and completely without commission. Highly recommend this tour, come rain or shine!
