I'm Claudio, born and raised in Rome, named after one of the greatest emperors of all time, #clavdivs 🗡️ My goal is for you to see the Eternal City the way I do: Streets, restaurants, neighbourhoods, shopping 🏛️ I prefer touring with small groups, so it's much easier to chat as we walk around, and I can give you plenty of suggestions on things to do during your stay 💡 LinkTree: https://linktr.ee/clodslink

Tour description

NO TOURIST TRAPS ⛔️

Perfect tour to start your visit in the Eternal City, I'll introduce you to the basics of local Roman food and give you a lot of tips about Rome at the end of the tour (Restaurants, museums, shopping, and so on).

Our first stop will be an appetizer called supplì, typical Roman riceball born in the 1800s. (10 minutes)
Right after that we'll enjoy typical pizza by the slice a few blocks away, in a bakery that's open to the public since 1880! (20 minutes)
We'll then slowly stroll through Campo de Fiori (oldest outdoor market in the city) and to the Theatre of Pompey (oldest Roman theatre, where Caesar was assassinated).
Our third stop is for the best coffee in the city (10 minutes).
Finally we'll enjoy great Tiramisù by Piazza Navona, where we'll end the tour.
Average food cost per person: 10€

I loved this food tour. Like Claudio promised: no tourists traps. His recommendations come from the heart and years of experience. And if you happen to stand in line: there’s a good reason to it. Claudio spiced the tour with lots of knowledge, anecdotes and fun facts which made it really fun. At the and of the tour he left us with a map of carefully selected recommendations to explore. Thank you!

We had a great tour with Claudio! He took us to some great stops on our tour of a few Roman dishes. His historical knowledge of the areas of Rome we travelled was excellent as well. Highly recommend the tour and Claudio!

Such a great tour, lovely streets and piazza’s you normally wouldn’t find. Claudio brought us to the very best small restaurants where the Romans come and tourists not so much: best Italian espresso place (1.50€ only), best pizza slices and tiramisu all not expensive at all and great taste. Claudio told us al lot about the places and shared his best recommendations like the best roof top bar with view and the best ice cream and best hidden places. Claudio is a very sympathetic guy who enjoys to show tourists around m, we definitely recommend this tour
