My name is Marko, I am a world traveler, former archaeologist and a huge history nerd. I am originally from Europe but I moved to New York City 15 years ago. I worked as a tour guide in New York City and always enjoyed meeting travelers from all around the world. I have been living in Seoul for two years now. I really enjoy exploring this city and at this point I know hundreds of cool places to visit or see in this city. Join me for a fun, educational and informative tour of Seoul.
Winter update:
I have adjusted this tour for the winter season. Now we spend little more time inside the mall and this helps us warm up midway the tour. This tour is approximately 2.5 hours long. Little over 30 minutes we spend in the mall to check out the Starfield library. Bring some warm winter clothing and hand warmers and you should be fine for the rest of the tour.
Join me for a Free Walking Tour of Gangnam, one of the richest areas in Seoul and South Korea. Learn about the history of Gangnam and its present-day story. This tour goes over history of Korea, Seoul, Gangnam and modern life in Korea. Learn why South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world. Hear some fun facts and stories about modern Korea.
During this tour we will see the most of the main sites in Gangnam, allowing you to take photos of:
1. Bongeunsa temple
2. COEX Mall Library
3. Statue of "Gangnam Style" mega-hit song.
4. Samseong Food and Culture Street.
5. Seolleung and Jeongneung Royal Tombs.
Meet me and the rest of the group at Exit 7 on "Bongeunsa" Train station in Gangnam. You can reach "Bongeunsa" train station by taking the 9 train line. I will wait for you INSIDE of exit 7.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
