The 3+ hours spent with Robert was a great in-depth introduction to everything Budapest. His knowledge, combined with his personal family stories, gave us a great insight into the varied history of this incredible city. His presentation as we walked was helpful and enriching to our visit to Budapest. Istvan is knowledgeable on everything Budapest and makes the tour very entertaining. He ensured the group is interactive and frequently cracks jokes to keep the mood light. He goes into details of the history of Budapest and it’s hidden gems which really helped us in getting to know the city better. He also has fun trivia questions during the tour and gives chocolates to people who answer them. Overall, it was a fun tour and would definitely recommend him for everyone.

Istanbul gave a great tour showing you little things that other guides did not show you. This was my second city tour with the first a different tour group. They were very good and I learned and saw many things in budapest. This tour repeated some of the highlights but also gave you more of a personal insight into other parts of the city that I did not get on the first tour. Both were great with a little overlap

István was a fantastic tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour around Budapest. Loved how well-prepared our guide was on our trip and kept us engaged throughout the tour with trivia questions and mini snacks. Would definitely recommend.

Best walking tour I’ve ever been in Europe, so far – I went to a really good one in Prague and I thought that was the best, so you can imagine how AMAZING István was, that he has now raised the bar 🤣 We could so clearly see István’s enthusiasm and passion for what he does, and the love he has for the city. He was funny, informative, interesting, and so, so charming. I am the last thing from a history buff and István managed to make Hungarian history digestible, interesting, AND fun to learn! Pacing was great, and I really appreciate how István made sure to wait for everyone + give us plenty of photo ops. If you do one tour in Budapest, PLEASE let it be István’s!! 🥰 (He also asks trivia questions and gives out Hungarian snacks – come prepared!!)

Zoltan was amazing, really well-informed and entertaining. He is extremely charismatic and clear with his information, and I honestly feel like I learned (and retained) lots of useful information in a fun way. Would really recommend it!
