I feel SO lucky to have booked a walk with Jenny - it was the best part of my trip to Nice! If you have the chance to join her tour, I cannot recommend it enough. She is incredibly gifted, and clearly someone who has found their calling as a tour guide and storyteller.
Jenny was extremely knowledgable and passionate, and because of her I absolutely fell in love with the little town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Not only did she provide fascinating insights into every landmark we encountered, but she also seamlessly wove in historical anecdotes and pointed out hidden gems that truly enriched the experience - exactly what you hope a guide will do. Her infectious enthusiasm and genuine warmth were so uplifting, I felt like I was walking with a good friend!
Jenny is also one of the kindest people I've met on my trip. At one point some older women were unable to purchase train tickets from a machine, and Jenny quickly helped them out. She goes above and beyond with everyone, even when they aren't walking with her.
By the end of the tour, I not only felt more knowledgeable about the Côte d'Azur, but also deeply inspired by her dedication to giving tours... I even started to think about being a walking tour guide in my own city! It was a truly unforgettable exploration, leaving me with cherished memories, beautiful pictures, and a newfound appreciation for the art of storytelling. Thank you so much Jenny, for this once in a lifetime experience!

I really liked the tour. i have been joining freewalking tours for a long time. And you can clearly see Marcin loves what he is doing. We were super tired, I was not expecting to climb but his energy spreaded to us as well!

Tour was alright - liked the sarcastic nature of the guru, and the spots chosen to take us. Good information for the most part, was a tad bit less interesting due to some political and historical aspects which weren't as interesting, maybe that's because that's all the city has to offer, not on the Guru. But alright overall.
BUT This is a free tour. I repeat, free tour. It is entirely up to the client to tip how much ever they want, IF they want to. We did tip, there was discontent expressed and he pushed visibly and verbally for more (which by itself isn't professional), and we acknowledged although not comfortable, and paid more. But discontent was still expressed yet again, with shaking of the head both times, and unhappiness mentioned in front of all other tourists which is embarrassing and unprofessional. This is literally begging for more.
There's a reason why we book FREE Tours, you don't know what financial situation we as tourists are in or how much we've spent in the trip so far to be where we are. We've been on so many free tours and no one has ever pushed this much or express constant disappointment and emotional black mail of sorts. Unacceptable. I think this specific guru should only do paid tours if they aren't happy with not accepting free ones.

Marcin was a very informative guide and really made Nice come alive. He had knowledge on everything from local celebrities as well as infamous criminals, places to eat, local specialties, Queen Victoria and the opera, the blue chairs, sculptures and many other interesting facets if this fascinating town
I highly recommend this tour and it's a great way to get an overview of Nice especially if only visiting for a brief period
Marcin was also very obliging taking photos...I think he is secretly a pro photographer 😉

It was a delight to be shown around beautiful Villefranche by Jenny. She was very knowledgeable about the sights, background information, history and even films shot there and local celebrities living there
Nearly every turning of the Old Town is picture perfect. Ditto the coast and beach
It makes a great day trip from nearby Nice either via the bus or train. The more spacious and tranquil atmosphere of this small town is a refreshing change from the city
I highly recommend and definitely a highlight of my trip
Jenny's enthusiasm and love for Villefranche is very evident and I can certainly understand why
