The guru was very nice and the tour was really fun and interesting at the same time. Our tour was great. I had no idea we’d be going to so many eateries. It was great to try small portions at each place. The food was truly incredible! Our tour guide was clearly knowledgeable not only about the food, but of Istanbul as well. We even got an added perk on our tour - we got to visit a mosque and for those interested…an opportunity to see a free whirling dervishes performance. It was a great evening!
My experience with Onder was magnificent! I have learned so much! He has a great proficiency of english, as well as knowledge about the culture, religion, history and geography. It was also important to hear about his experience and his own point of view about all the information. This agregated a personal experience on it. The day was with this perfect weather and the tour by the Bosphoro was incredibly enjoyable. The city we have arrived is cute and cheap. I could have an excelent meal with a good service there and it was important for me see how local people live. Definitely a very good experience!
This is our first trip in Istanbul. And this one is our third organised tour in the city. I do recommend this tour with Huseyin: if you are interested in the food and culture of Turkey. We have tasted very unique and interesting flavors (Cigkofte, Boza, original baklava, ayran and more). We also have visited Fatih Mosque with a very detailed explanation especially if you are not very familiar with Islamic culture. Finally we went to the Sirian neighbourhood, very interesting and we had the best falafel! Thank you Huseyin!
