Honestly the idea of a walking tour is great, but from my experience with this particular tour, It was only 45 min long instead of the 1h 30m on the website. The tour guide only had 4 stops and at each stop they pressure you to buy something you don’t need. And at the end of the mini tour they ask for 200 pesos or more as a tip which is super ridiculous as the tour is not that great and you can honestly do it on your own and have way more fun, and actually get to know the city better.

My tour guide was Isabel and she was fantastic! She knew many interesting facts about the Mayan history and recent important issues for Mexican people. She answered all of my questions and gave me a ton of helpful recommendations for the rest of my trip. Definitely a good tour if you want to know more about Playa del Carmen.
